Hylomecon japonica
Four-petalled yellow poppy flowers; beautiful low woodlander.
Hylomecon japonica is a lovely woodland poppy, with really bright yellow, four-petalled flowers. Although it must set seed in its home in Japan and northern China, it does not normally do so here, so propagation is by the slow method, division.
