Gunnera magellanica

Gunnera magellanica is a mat-forming miniature gunnera, in complete contrast with the huge G. manicata. Cupped, scalloped, kidney-shaped leaves form a spreading mat. Minute green flowers are formed in compact panicles and these are followed by round, orangey red fruits.

Tiny, prostrate contrast to the giant Gunnera.
