Semiaquilegia adoxoides

This is a very small genus of plants that are very like aquilegias, but the flowers do not have the characteristic spurs. They have lovely, delicate grace (although the plants are robust enough) and muted colours, so they are elegant contributors to a woodland, partly shaded part of the garden.

Semiaquilegia adoxoides is quite a small, delicate-looking plant, with lots of flowers in a lovely dusky pink colour. It comes from China and Japan.
