Reineckea carnea

Reineckea carnea is an unusual lily, loosely related to lily of the valley. It has glossy, upright, strap-like leaves, and the flowers emerge from the centres of the tufts of leaves. Each stem has a raceme of flowers, somewhat like a grape hyacinth, but each small, pinkish-red.

Grape hyacinth-like flowers, pinky-red buds opening to white stars.
