Iris leptophylla

is a whole subgenus with just three species, all from high in the Sinohimalaya. They need well cultivated soil in sun.

Iris leptophylla is like Iris colettii, and there has been confusion of the names. It has pale bright blue/mauve flowers with a yellowish-orange crest.
