Iris lazica

These are much sought-after irises, which perform best in a warm, dry site, such as very close to a south-facing wall. Here the fragrant flowers will open in succession through the darkest days of winter until well into spring. They can be picked and brought into the house, where their scent will fill a warm room.

Iris lazica has lilac flowers with white falls striped mauve and a yellow stripe.
