Andromeda polifolia 'Blue Ice'
These are compact ericaceous shrubs, with grey-green leaves and cluster of small, hanging, urn-shaped flowers, contracted at the mouth. They look good with other ericaceous shrubs, such as cassiopes, phyllodoces and dwarf rhododendrons, and like similar conditions. It is a British wild plant - bog rosemary. Andromeda polifolia 'Blue Ice' is a lovely, dwarf variety with powder blue evergreen foliage and clusters of small, soft pink flowers.
